Is it really July?
So, according to the calendar we're now in July. Not even JUST into July. In the middle of it! I'm not sure where the past few months have gone really, but I'd love for it to slow down just a little bit. Being in the middle of July means we're only a couple of weeks away from my birthday and I'm pretty sure I've not used a year of my life in the past 12 months! Can I just level up to 32.5? Do I have to go up a WHOLE level to 33? Anybody know the rules on this?
The past few months have been bonkers. I feel as though I have barely stopped. Actually, maybe that's because I haven't. I am super grateful for how many orders I have taken the past few months though. The response to the new products I've launched so far has been amazing!! Thank you!
I've been meaning to do an update the past couple of weeks but you guys are keeping me so busy that I just don't get around to it. A phone call this morning, from a lovely lady in charge of NHS Admissions, has lit the fire under my butt to get an update out as I'm now pretty much being FORCED to take some down time.
When? How long? Why?
When? From Monday 27th July. But fear not. I am not closing.
How long? I will just be having a week (just one. Max. I don't do "time off" too well!) of no physical working on printing and pressing orders. The plan is to just extend my processing times and keep the website open.
Why? Because the NHS Gods want me to have a small operation to remove a lump from one of my breasts. It's an operation I've had before. I'm absolutely fine. Please don't worry. The lump is just larger than they'd like it to be. I've actually got several, there leaving those where they are though. I wasn't expecting to get a date so quickly. But I was planning a little bit of down time around my birthday (31st) so it's kind of all just slotted into place itself. On that note; If you're female - have you checked yourself this month? It's one thing I make sure I do regularly as it seems I'm prone to lumps. I know the routine. They've all been checked and cleared. My inbox is always open and I'm more than happy to chat about with anybody if it's something that is worrying you!
Processing Time Updates
Any orders placed BETWEEN Tuesday 14th May (5pm) and Monday 20th July (5pm) MIGHT be affected. I'm really hoping that all orders up to Monday 20th at 5pm will stick within the standard 5-10 working day processing time. But as always sometimes delays are inevitable.
Orders places AFTER 5pm on Monday 20th July will be on an extended processing time of up to 21 working days. This is longer than I envisage them taking but I don't want to promise them any quicker just in case. Please do not ask for any rush orders. I will not be able to do them during this time.
I am super lucky that Mr P is now back at the unit full time with his business Revampit and he could almost run TFD with minimal support from me if needed. So IF there were any complications at all and after a week I couldn't do the physical work I'm sure I could rope Mr P in and pay him in tea and biscuits! Last year I had surgery on my shoulder and was back working after just a week so I'm keeping positive! Not like I use my boobs whilst printing! haha!
Upcoming supplier order dates;
> Tuesday 14th July @ 5pm
> Monday 20th July @ 5pm
> Tuesday 28th July @ 5pm
Accessories for sublimation printing will be ordered as required.
Christmas in July
Between 27th and 31st July I will use the time I am not processing orders to share all the exciting new Christmas Products and some designs with you all. I'm on an afternoon slot for my operation so in the morning I'll schedule a couple of posts. Then obviously I'll be out of action for a few hours. I'll start sharing some sneak peeks of products in the next week or so. I've got a bundle of awesomeness arriving tomorrow!
During this time I will also do some much needed website update including getting the Testers page up and running with the other, non Christmas, products on. I've not got to it before now because I have just been non-stop processing your awesome orders. As much as I love new products my priority is always to get your orders out as quickly as I can.
So what now..
Well, the next 2 weeks I'll have my head down working through orders. There will be the odd new product making an appearance too. As always, if you have any queries then just shout. I am technically now "self-isolating" before my surgery. So the unit doors are locked. There will be no availability for local collections. I'm sorting an Iceland food shop to stock the freezer up. But I am carrying on as "normal" as I can! Orders will still be sent as normal. Our circle is super small even when there isn't a global pandemic so we've not gone back to socialising since some of the restrictions were limited. I've still not had a Maccy's. Still no intention of heading to a pub. And it looks like I'm growing my hair! We're happy in our own little bubble.
Sorry it's been a boring, wordy update. No fancy pictures. I'll make the next one more exciting! Promise!
Stay Safe.
Stay Awesome.
Charlotte xx

Aww make sure you do rest afterwards missus! Listen to your body. Excited for the xmas goodies ?? it’s never too early for Xmas talk!
I feel as though this is my body’s way of telling me I need time off. It likes to go to drastic measures to ensure I take some down time ?
I will be sensible. You know me. Xx
I love that your body tells you…. Could have been a little less drastic! But I know you’re sensible, and will ask for help if you need it. Here for you love, ALWAYS xxxx
Yeah it would be nice if it just gave me a cold or something but that would be boring ay! I will of course ask for help if I need it! xxx
Good luck with the op and try and rest a bit lovely lady xx

I can’t wait to see what you’ve got for us all for Christmas too. Take care my lovely. Love Rachel………xx ❤️?
It’s going to be strange with all the new rules in place. Like wearing a mask etc. But needs must! I love that you’ve been by my side throughout my business journey! I can never thank you enough for all the support you’ve given me over the years! xxx
Look after yourself and take longer if you need. You are super chilled about surgery! Take care x
