Test Purchase Complete

Good evening friends, followers and everybody else.

I didn’t realise it was so long ago that I done my first blog post. 16th August! The time between then and now has flown by!! The website might look like it hasn’t changed much. But I can assure you behind the scenes there is lots going on!!

This evening I have completed my first test purchase. This was to ensure that the basket and checkout is all working as it should. Stripe is all set up for card payments and there is the option to use Paypal too. (I couldn’t check out using Paypal as it wouldn’t let me use the account linked with my shop – for obvious reasons).

Potential Issues

As a buyer I got my email through regarding my purchase swiftly. As a seller I appear to have not got anything through in an email. I did get the notification in my back office though. So I’ll be taking a look at that as I’d love to be getting an email when ever a purchase is made as then I can keep on top of turnaround times. Next test will be to test a refund…just in case I ever need to use it!

As I’ve said previously, this is all new for me. Learning as I go but enjoying every minute. My plan now is to spend at least 1 hour per evening doing some work on my website to get products listed and it ready for you to use.
