A month on…
So here we are, a little over a month on from my last update. A ton has happened since then. I mean, too much. It’s been rather crazy! In my last update my biggest suppliers were closed and I was working from home. Fast forward to now and my suppliers are back open and I am back at the unit. In the middle of all of that. Madness! It’s the only word I have to describe it.
Top Seller!
In March, without realising, I created a TOP SELLING Design for a T-shirt for a customer. I then listed this on the website and it has blown up! It was a Lockdown Birthday T-Shirt. I have lost count how many of these I have now printed! I’ve done a few variations too when a customer has asked for something slightly different. They’re still available too. You can find them here for the kids sizes and here for the adults. Before you run off to order, please take a note of the potential time it may take to be printed and dispatched. Suppliers have re-opened, but are working slower. To combat some delays I have ordered a very small amount of “stock” for the kids t-shirts. Due to amount of different options it isn’t financially viable for me to carry every single size and colour so I have gone for the most popular colours (Light Pink, White, Dark Grey (Convoy Grey/Charcoal)). Where I can I will try and top this up for any that sell each time I place a supplier order. I’ll get the listing updated to show which colours and sizes are available in stock today once stock arrives and I’ve checked off any that have already been snapped up. As always, if you require an order for a specific date it is always worth popping me a message BEFORE you order to see if it’s possible. You can do this via the chat option on the website, which you’ll find in the bottom right corner, my Facebook Page, using the Contact Us form or even by Whatsapp.
Creating my own “normal”.
As I mentioned above, I was temporarily working from the house. If I’m honest. I hated it. I was kind of stuck there though because we’d gutted my part of our unit ready and waiting for new carpet to arrive (which is a whole different story that I won’t bore you with!). Whilst I wasn’t working from the unit we gave my “office” a makeover. Put some new boarding up on one of the make shift walls. Painted. Cut me a new desk top. And eventually got new carpet down. I then spent a day cleaning and reorganising my space ready to move back. That was almost 2 weeks ago now and I can confirm I am 100% more happy being here. It is my happy place!

Things are still slightly different. I’m still using the Parcel Box in town to drop orders off rather than the depot. I’m keeping my human contact to a minimum. Deliveries are slower getting to me. Different suppliers are taking different lengths of time to pack and dispatch orders. With this in mind I have taken the decision to put a few items on “back order” on the website so that I can try and reduce my processing time back to “normal”. I will get a list together as to what these items will be and how long they may take to arrive with me should you still wish to order. It will definitely include sweatshirts and hoodies as the supplier I use for these is taking up to 7 working days to dispatch orders. So don’t panic. They will still be available to order, they will just take a little longer to get to me than say a t-shirt. Once I have updated the listings and created the list I’ll pop a link to it in the comments of this update and email it out. It will also go onto my FB page. For now this will be my new “normal” and I will of course keep you updated as and when things change.
Trademarking TFD & a Giveaway
Who remembers the Super Awesome SBO (Small Business Owner) T-Shirts I launched a couple of months ago? Anybody? If you’re a Small Business owner you totally need one! Go check the t-shirts out here. Well, I’ve decided to pull the design across to an entire range which will include mugs, keyrings, coasters, bottles and more! You’ll be able to match the colours to your business branding colours and on some items, mugs for example, you can even add your business logo if you wish. What’s more exciting than just creating the whole range, is that I’m then going to use any profits from the sale of the products in this range to Trademark my Business Name/Logo. It is something I have wanted to do for a long time but never feel I can quite justify spending the money it costs. Stupid I know. So I’m going to create myself a little fund tracker for one of my many whiteboards and each time I sell a SBO product I will put the profits to one side especially for the purpose of Trademarking TFD. I believe it costs around £180 so that will be my goal. I will of course keep you all updated on the progress! Check out the range here. It’s not got everything there just yet but fear not, it will soon be jam packed with awesomeness!
To kick off the new product range I have decided to do a little giveaway. I am going to give you the chance to win one of the brand new SBO Keyrings (like shown above). These are made from aluminium and come in a range of finishes including white, brushed silver, brushed copper, mirror gold and more!
It’s not going to be hard to enter either!! Simply follow the steps below;
